Important Note: If you are using TuneFab WeTrans to export photos from iOS device to PC, then you might probably run into this issue: all the photos exported are in small size. The reason is simple. When you are using iCloud Photo Library, all the photos stored in your device are not the original photos but the optimized version of photos, which are in small size. If you want to download the full-size image from iCloud, then keep reading this post.
iCloud Photo Library is an amazing tool to manage photos and videos taken by our devices. The best thing about iCloud Photo Library is that it can automatically sync all the photos and videos to iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV, and iCloud.com so that we can get access to the data on any device easily.
Instead of storing all the full-resolution photos on your iPhone or iPad, iCloud Photo Library gives you the choice to keep optimized photos (small thumbnails) on any of the iOS devices. This optimized storage feature is enabled by default in your devices when iCloud Photo Library is enabled. However, if you don’t like the optimized copies and want to download the original photos from iCloud to iPhone/iPad, here is the right solution for you. This guide will show you how to keep full size photos while opening iCloud Photos Library on device.
Step 1. Go to "Settings" on your iPhone, then select "Photos".
Step 2. Enable "iCloud Photos", and then you will see two options: "Optimize iPhone Storage" and "Download and Keep Originals". Select "Download and Keep Originals".
Step 3. When all is set on your iPhone, you can go back to TuneFab WeTrans and connect your iOS device to our program. After that, you can use the program to export full size photos from iOS device to PC.
