The following tutorial will teach how to record Steam gameplay step by step via TuneFab Screen Recorder. We will take the macOS system as an example. Keep reading.
Download TuneFab Screen Recorder by clicking the download button. Follow instructions to install it. Launch the software and the main interface is as below.
There are four options available in the user interface: Video Recorder, Webcam Recorder, Audio Recorder and Screen Capture. In this case, click on "Video Recorder" to start.
You can either record your entire screen by clicking "Full" or part of your screen by clicking "Custom". Various system pre-sets are also available to choose. The video can be recorded with or without sound by turning the microphone on and off. What's more, the length of the video can be set manually.
Hit Gear button to enter Preference page and then click on "Output" to choose your output format and location. There are various video format options available. MOV, MP4, M4V and Gif for Mac, and MOV, MP4, M4V, Gif and more for Windows. You can also adjust your video quality and frame rate here.

Step 1. During your game, press "Win+G" to open Xbox Game Bar > "Yes, this is a game" > Menu > "Broadcast & capture" to launch Xbox Game Bar Screen Capture tool.
Step 2. After that, you can start recording your screen by clicking the Camera icon. Once the recording is done, you can edit your recording by opening "Captures" in the Xbox app. What's more, you can share it to Twitter or your friends via messages.
The best thing about Xbox Game Bar is that you can use it straight away without the need of downloading any third-party software. However, it is only available for Windows 10 users.
